Topbucks sales this period

Anyone else had their TB ratios go totally to shit this period? Not trying to slam the program just curious if it's only me. Not talking about a little lower here but a huge drop for the whole period. If it is just me then obviously I need to do something about it

I'm presuming it's for much the same traffic that sales are up? Probably just me then. Pain in the ass 'cause it means switching the bit of Google adwords traffic off I was sending to it. First time it's made me less than it costs to buy.

Mind you ratios with them mean little other than as a gauge to know what your traffic usually hits with their stats and what it's currently doing.

Once upon a time (last december and before) I was doing better than 1-30 (their stats) with targetted traffic. Those were the good 'ol days

Anyone know how they count uniques? I dont know if its fully 2nd page or not, but its definately not 1st page correctly... =/

Anywho, to answer your question...

3days ago, it went to completely to shit, from a good start at the beginning of the period.

Last day, went back.

Was 1:70, then 1:400, then 1:75 or so again.

Not a bad period overall tho, =) I'll gladly take their checks.

let me guess, last period you got one sale from a total of 57 hits and this period you've sent them well over 100 hits and havn't made a sale yet!

As I say I want to know if the problem is just me or others too. I still promote and still give a thumbs up to TB and their programs - it seems they sacked (or he left) one of the few weak points in their programs. If it was a general thing then perhaps it could have been caused by changes in billing etc. As it seems it's not I obviously have to look my end and see why the drop.

I know exactly what you're talking about. I was doing the same ratios last year with ppc traffic. Now they suck ass. I've moved most of my campaigns to other sponsors now. I can't afford to send traffic to TB anymore with those ratios. And yes, 1:200 is unacceptable with ppc traffic.

I was getting 250 signups a month with topbucks but the last few pay periods something went wrong.I have taken all my best sites off them now.
I still havent a conversion on their new teenforcash site yet.

Thanks Brad. Gonna look at it my end 1st. Only a small % of my TB SU's have ever been PPC traffic as it's tough to get in big amounts when very niche. However, like I say the drop is sudden, not just PPC traffic which can be flakey at best. There's been a gradual decrease for months which is probably as much to do with my main traffic source becoming diluted as anything else, but then I've never found anywhere else to send some of it to test that. However this was a sudden thing so going to stick it for a bit and see if the problem lies at source as may be the case.

If I still get probs I'll get back to you. Mind you - seems I now also have Ali to contact again since my 'account rep' (did he ever really exist? ;) ) went. She's normally quick and efficient at sorting any trouble.

Like I say - the thread was in no way having a dig at topbucks. I've just known billing systems to change in the past (talking about other sponsors here) and make a huge impact on sales. In those circumstances the sponsor rarely admits a problem but the drop is across the board so others certainly do. As I've said though it's obviously not the case here so time to change tactics my end.
