Pay Pal

I paid someone last Sunday thru my pal pal account and everything was fine.

But the person I paid is ignoring me now and won't answer his ICQ or emails. Before I paid the person everything was Ok we spoke every day and everything until I paid him. Now 7 days later nothing.

I just want to know how can if there is a way of getting my money back. I was never in this situation before so I don't know what to do next. I want my money back.

I would apreciate any help given to me.

Just go to Pay Pal's support. You should be able to fill out a form there where they give the person 10 days to show proof that they sent your item out, otherwise they take it back for you (if the money is still in their account).

The thing is I paid the person for programming work. I paid him 50% of the price now and was supposed to pay him the other 50% on delivery.

If I don't get a reply within few hours I will post his nickname here and all his info including a pay pal receipt I got for paying the person but before I do that I will give the person another chance to contact me to solve the problem if not then he is exposed big time.

I've been fucked out of aprox $1,500 due to dumb fucks like that, Paypal is very unreliable at times and their customer support is far from helpfull...

Chances are they might make you download a form, print it out, fill it out and send it to them to review.

Sometimes they just tell you theres nothing they can do about it...

As for those guys, I think they should be exposed as well...alittle public exposure would help the GFY community alot...help make everyone abit more aware of who they do transactions with

Just do the same as we did when the last ass-wipe took money from us through PayPal and then promptly disappeared? Just let slip to PayPal that the payment was for adult related work and you will get your money back soon enough with no problems.

You just need to be ready for one of the long list of stock excuses then when the guy suspiciously gets back to you very shortly afterwards.

Paypal protect buyers . They kill sellers . I was selling virtual items and lost couple grands total with chargeback . Any1 can charge back .

here is how it work :

If it's for content then it's aiight you'll get the $ back since the seller can't proove he sent you anything

If it's for an object the seller gotta send the mail ID he sent you from UPS or whatever . If he fail to do it then you'll get your money back .

Just fill a paypal complaint agains't him on this case

btw paypal DID fucked me up but I know how they work I handled couple dozens scammers . Most of the time the BUYER is right and seller is wrong they don't care no matter what

Well Dr. Dre, if you have had good luck in getting satiafaction, more power to ya. For most, there is no satisfaction with paypal.

I got fucked for $2000. I cancelled a transaction, and got an email verification. I get my cc bill and see that paypal took it anyway. I contacted the seller that I was going to make the purchase from, and he said he did not receive the funds. So I contact paypal. No reply from them. I sent an email a week for 2 months. Absolutely no reply. So I call them (give it a try Dre, it's a pleasurable experience, kind of like masturbating with sandpaper). I had no other choice but to call my cc company and charge back. Paypal managed to reverse the charge back until I faxed my cc company the e-mail verification from paypal that I had cancelled the purchase. Paypal immediately froze my account. There is still $1043.74 in the account that I will never get.

I am not bashing you Dre. But your wonderful experience with paypal does not necessarily reflect everyone elses. If it was as easy as you stated, then there wouldnt be so many paypal horror stories. Do your homework before telling me "I'm wrong." Search this board for paypal horror stories. My paypal experience is a lot easier to find than your "happy" experience.

paypal has been nothing but problems for me .... in a way I'm glad they're not allowing adult sites anymore, its an excuse not to hear about such a shitty company on this board anymore
