Damn that Sobig worm is sneaky!

received a fake email from [email protected] ... and another one with a support ticket email similar the the ones I can receive from my host!

Somebody(hotmail, etc..) should send "warning emails" to all their members and let them know about that sneaky worm...

Oh yeah that worm is sneaky.

I use roadrunner cable modem etc, and I got an email from admin@ saying my email address was going to be changed and to read the attachment for details.

Very sneaky.

Yeah, hotmail loves this shit though, They wont ever admit it though... It fills up peoples inboxes so people start worrying that they wont get anymore important emails, so they buy that extra space and virus protection bullshit, that hotmail is trying to pimp out all the time.

Never thought about that. Norton and McAfee probably are doing high fives this week and selling a shitload of software.

Welp it took me hours to get the viruses out of a friends computer, they had 4 worms and 1 trojan and Norton was USELESS until I removed most the threat out of the registry etc. It would not even run in safe mode.

It may be great to prevent virus but if your ate up, its not the best tool to start the disinfecting process with.
