do you know what japaense even looks like?
you probably think its all chinese characters

i would take a look at msn-japan or yahoo-japan
you'll see not even half of whats there is kanji

But I see binary charachters or something like that, do I need to change my browser settings to view these characters or something?

you should change the encoding to japanese if you got it.
if not, do auto select, and the page should prompt you to download the japanese charater set.

About the Icelandic translation... :)
