Sad indeed.

Provide your solution...or pretend that you are an adviser to this President or the next President if you prefer.

But first Iraq needs to repay the billions in fuckng damages it did to Kuwait.

Think about it. Iraq invaded Kuwait without reason, took what ever they fucking wanted, raped the women, burned the oil wells to the ground, and then fled in fucking cars they fucking stole.

You can't put a price on this. We are already rebuilding Iraq. Get the fuck over it.

Heh. You forgot the bit about stealing the incubators and leaving those poor, defenseless babies to rot on the cold concrete floors.

Now lets really be honest here... Ultimately there is a master plan to control the middle east and Iraq is just a step forward in that direction.

OIL? Sure its about oil but not necessarily the way most people see it. In the Presidents State of the Union speech, he stated that he would be putting budget towards Hydrogen Conversion Technology. He also has ordered that the Oil Reserves in the US be filled to maximum capacity within the next 2 years.

Now if logic serves me, based on what I am seeing, it would appear that soon enough the US gov. will start issuing tax credits to people for switching over to alternate sources of energy aside from OIL. With the reserves being full and less people using OIL as an energy source, the US would then have a SERIOUS stronghold on countries that rely on OIL sales for economic survival. By choking these nations and not needing their resources, it will make it that much easier for the US to walk in and take power.

So, I guess what I am trying to say without being too much of a windbag is that George Bush is gambling with American taxpayers money right now. He is dumping a ton of it into a big Lottery and is hoping that it will ultimately pay off.

While doing this, he is destroying peoples lives and creating a LOT of animosity towards the USA within other countries.

Go Dubyah. Yeah. Moron.

I assume...and maybe I shouldn't...that you will agree that virtually everything of value was looted?

I can't say with any certainty that that is true.

I dunno about that. I think G.W. would have had a stroke just trying to think through the first part of that "master plan!":1orglaugh

Did you see the video of the "Highway of Death" which showed the destruction of some of the loot they were trying to escape with...but there are probably those that think the video was filmed staged/made in Hollywood.

No I haven't.

Who did make it?

Hey everyone!

I hope you know "The King" is one of 200 some candidates running for California Governor.

Be sure to vote for him, cuz in his world, he's never wrong, and has a solution for everything!

No wait..that's like all the other politicians.

Never mind!:)

For the most part the "Highway of Death" was video taped by various news organizations around the world...and there was additional video tapes made by the militaries combat photographers...as well as video from military aircraft and from gun cameras. The "Highway of Death" was well documented so I do not know how you could have missed it...and has been shown in virtually every documentary made about the 1st Gulf War. In addition it was the images from the "Highway of Death" that had a large influence on stopping the war 24-48 hours to early.

Juist as I thought...just another uncompredhending clown that runs down our government and the decision makers within that government and has zero solutions.

No I am not running for Governor...I have never been a political activist and I do not intend to start being one now...or ever. My political activism is limited to one vote and an occasional letter to my Congressman.

Shhhhhh 08-20-2003 07:00 PM

Bush is a dumbfuck puppet.... but shhh, don't tell anyone I said so. :1orglaugh

This thread is about how much the war is costing the American taxpayer. You pipe up with "But we've got their oil!" and I asked a simple question: How much money have we made from selling Iraqi oil?

Instead of answering you talk about a "race" (RACE?), join King in fond memories of how we rebuilt Germany & Japan (50 years ago..and they were educated industrialized western countries, not a poor backward country with no infrastructure.)

Then you talked about a CAR LOAN? Geez..is there a nice International Househould Finance were the U.S. can get an interest free loan to pay for all of this?

My point, and this thread's point is that we are throwing money down a rathole in Iraq that we can ill afford to spend right now or continue spending for any indefinite period.

I am not pro war, but I can certainly see the economics. There are no certainties in life, so who knows what is going to happen and there is no doubt that there is risk with the move into Iraq. Just like there is risk in everything.

But to discount the potential economic impact of the OIL factor is naive. To cry about it like chicken little is sad.

The difference between you and me, is that I don't presume to know the outcome. Nor do I whine about what could go wrong.

You make stupid statements about not having money to pay for the war when our whole economy is based on credit in the first place. You really do not know much about economics, do you??

Good night chicken little. :)

However, the converse can't be true, they don't have the Hearst Empire in their midst.
