I'm considering purchasing ZoneAlarm which seems to be good also for those annoying popups. Should I go for this software or another one(which one)?

Yeah go with Nortons! I had Zone Alarm and it was allright, but Nortons is catching all kinds of shit that Zone Alarm didn't.
