One of the eight adult entertainment deals that Acacia is touting won the company only a one-time $500 payment, according to Farrell Timlake, president of adult site Homegrownvideo.com.
Wonder what site that was?

Well it looks like the people at acacia shoud have done their homework a little better...

" After all, online adult entertainment is a fragmented and apparently incoherent set of companies, full of business amateurs who, Acacia hoped, would probably rather pay a percentage than get hauled into court. "

I have been in the computer industry for 9 years and have now 2 business, that yield me a very nice living. ANd I know that there are a ton more of you guys out there that are basically the same way.

FOr some reason these people go it into their heads that we are all a bunch of kids playing business dress up in the garage of our parents homes.

If we are so fragmented, how have we managed to have internext so successfully for so many years??? Having the turn out that we have had????

I guess that for the time being, they have bitten off more than they can chew...

By the way thanx for the link...

Jesus Christ, these fuckchunks could make more money TGPing....

I love the fact that they are "fuming".

That burn rate is insane for an "all star team of executives and lawyers", the same retarded fucknuggets who couldn't make any money setting up a scam "incubator" company are hardly "all stars"

I can't wait until we start reading stories about various executives of this company losing their homes, families, children, etc.

Don'yt think the fight is won yet. We still have a long way to go.

Join the fight by giving something (nothing too little or too large) at www.impia.org

Just letting them slide away is not enough, WE HAVE TO CRUSH THEM.

Or we will find ourselves going through this again and again, let any lawyer out there with a patent in his hand know WE ARE NOT AN EASY TARGET

Acacia (I know you read this) you have to be put down and put down hard. Or we will face another scam in a few months time. You thought we were a bunch of kids who would roll over and pay. MISTAKE

good article...

"For Ryan the situation is clearly frustrating. "These companies will end up spending more on litigation than if they just paid the fees," he fumes. Attorney Dorman is equally dismissive of the adult entertainment firms. These companies are so used to people challenging their business on first amendment grounds that they constantly feel victimized," he says.

"They're not sophisticated enough to realize that this patent action is just standard procedure in mainstream businesses."

haha

that is funny.
