Computer Corner in Brandon? Didn't you run Mako BBS? |
Oh how I loved our C64. I was in 3rd grade when I got one for Christmas.
I had TONS of favorite games. Here are a few I remember really well: M.U.L.E. (NUMBER ONE! YEAH!) Impossible Mission Radar Rat Race (First game we ever bought for it... it was on cartridge!) G.O.R.F. (educational) Infiltrator Legacy of the Ancients Summer Games (all of them) Winter Games Jumpman Jr. Giana Sisters (a ripoff of Mario Brothers) Beachhead Boulderdash Bard's Tale ZORK, Suspended... and all the Infocom games. And I really, really loved the Christmas Demo. We played it every Christmas for several years. And S.A.M. rocked! I loved it when my dad made him talk to me. He used to make me cry by making the computer say it was working so hard to let me play games all day that it was dying. Oh lord, I don't know how he managed to fool me every time! I've had the emulator for a while. I need to find time to play some of the games again. :) |

I had the 64/128...it had two modes...although I spent more time in 64 than in 128...big ups to tahoebbs, high sierra bbs, and wayhighbbs... What was that game that was so popular, spacetrader 2000...space something? You mined resources, built planets space stations and set up defences and trade routes... It was all about hitting a macro key for about 30 minutes straight before school...OWNAGE! |
