cable is running, dsl would be lucky to hit 350K

Im no tech head so i dont know if this is good but on a test I DL 1MB in 4.6 sec Works great for me. DSL btw

depends on the DSL. i was on 384/256K. there are faster lines, but i was stuck with the line.

i forget how much nice cable really is.. glad to have it again

the $20 a month i pay for my cable is pretty nice. i get about 1.8 typically. sometimes it speeds up to the high 2 range, but who needs that much speed anyway? anything over 1 will let you download all the vids you want pretty fuckin fast.

yeah, they're pretty good.... I don't know if they're the best out there, but I've had several Linksys routers, and only had one die on me. If you go with Linksys, get the wireless.... I have a BSI rack system upstairs in my audio rack, and get great Net connectivity through the walls and ceiling straight to the system. Plus you can hard line to it if you need to. Great gear.
