there is nothing wrong with using paypal as long as you do everything manually. and you trust the people you deal with.
otherwise get your own merchant account. i dont see how you claim to be fucked over? you agree to the terms which must be disclosed up front. if you feel the rates are too high. simply move on |

I dont think epassporte stole me my money or anyone else here. I know a lot of CZ webmasters and nobody ever bitched about bad exchange rates of CZK with Epassporte. |

my bad, i forget it's technically 5%, unless you're only loading $50 :) lol... i'm not complaining about a fee for transactions, i'm talking a fee for loading your account. although, i just got my first payment through epassporte yesterday (finally), and i noticed it seems there are no fees for epassporte->epassporte accounts. at least, you didn't charge me anything. so, that kinda offsets things i guess :) now, if people would just use it more. i've had 1 person that actually used it, everyone wants to use paypal. i'm just waiting for the day for someone to pay me for work, and paypal zaps the account for fun :( |
I just opened an bank account here and I am waiting my credit card to signup to epassporte. I hope everything goes fine, because that's the only way I can get cash from the account I have with one of Chocker's programs.
Epassporte looks like a very sweet payment system. |

Charly, surely if you're just processing for business to business use, then you could use somebody like WorldPay.
Although they won't allow you to process with them for paysites, you're a different case. |

Western Union Quick Collect is ggrrrreeeaaaattttt!! Here in Canada the agents are everywhere, including grocery stores, and WU just turned this service international. Customers from 130 different countries can just drop their money into my bank account. The only negative is the transaction fee, the flat $15 Cdn/$11 US is a real drag for some first timer trying to send me $10. I admit though, I rarely get one from a US client. Sounds like most of the agents are in scummy locations there, but within the US (excludes me) you can now send WU Quick Collect by phone or online using a Visa/MC You should take the time to get yourself set up, lots of paperwork but no fees. You can have the funds deposited into your bank account or have checks print instantly in your office--nothing like the sound of a WU check printing to put a smile on your face. |
