i have 2 rabbits (also a guinea pig) for about 1 year now. everything sems to
be going smoothly until now ... they are losing thier hair!! i touch them and
hair goes everywhere!! any spot i pull on will easily release any amount of
hair i grab.
i feed them some pelets i get in a large bag, and keep them in seperate
cages.
they arent usually out of cage unless its changing time. i know they need to be
out, and if they wouldnt crap all over, and hide under bed, then id gladly let
em out. but that isnt the case. i give alfalfa often, and plenty of water.
other than that, they seem to be acting fine, i dont understand whats going
on, i held my rex tonight and was nearly covered in hair!!
HELP!!!

You should use KY or another water-based lubricant.

Vaseline and fur are a nasty combo!

I shave & duct tape them. They don't burst that way.
