question about dos commands to recover some files...

Hey, I tried using the UNDELETE /list command in command prompt because I lost some files that I accidently deleted.

I have win2k, does that version of Dos not support the undelete and recover commands?

I also tried this in command prompt safe mode. I am really hoping I can recover these files, although it may be too late. they were deleted yesterday.

I knew I should not have cleared all the things in my recycle bin

all help would be appreciated. thanks.

Chuck

This got me out of a similar jam once. Couldn't regain everything because I'd tried some other solutions first and had modified the partition the files were on. But, it found what was still there and rescued it for me!

wow that looks cool, but how do I know the data has not already been over written?

I dont want to go spending $40 and then it not be able to recover the lost data.

Use the Demo Version to check first! Just don't install it in the same partition as those files, the more you mess around there, the more you'll end up losing.
