I am watching the Lullaby video at the moment on mpeg it is awesome. They are a band that created a movement.

I saw them on a show in the UK a few weeks back but nothing was really said about what they were up to.

LOVE them..LOVE them...did I mention that I LOVE them. They are back and recording an album from what I understand. Sadly, their tunes are showing up in adverts over here lately too but without the words, thankfully.

I saw them in Toronto during the Wish tour, and they forever have a spot in my playlist.

Boys Don't Cry is probably my all time favorite tune.

ticketmaster doesn't have any gigs showing up. Astoria is always easier for me to get back from. Although, having seen Ash at Somerset house this week I vote for all gigs being held there in the summer.

okay, according to their website the reason they have been whoring themselves around UK tv shows is they have a DVD out called the Cure: The Trilogy

The video to close to you is superb - certainly on my top10 list of vids. Not a bad tune either.

Worst band I've ever heard...even the production of their albums
is of such low quality that it never should have been released
wether you like the music or not.....Most overrated act of the
century.....

I had a friend from the UK who lived here for many years Robert Smith was his god. When we went bar hopping for chicks he'd style his hair like Robert's and it was a real conversation piece with the ladies. This was around the late eighties circa Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me and Disintergration, still two of my favorites from them. I recently bought their last album BloodFlowers as a homage to the memories we had back then. Drugs and women. Good times. Yo yo yo The Cure gets mad fucking props from me aaaiiieght.:
