Once you've set someone to be blocked though, it will block all emails from that person - but you can always go back in to the interface and un-block them if you want/need to.
I just wish they'd let you put more than one address (ie multiple aliases) on an account.

I Just use outlook to do the same thing, If it is a spam email, I hit block sender.
Highlight email hit the "message" in the menu at the top, hit block sender. It will remove all emails from that person, and block all others that are incoming.. Just auto Deletes them.
I also use my message rules to delete common emails with the same subject lines, that come from different senders...
