So the design itself is 780x500 and ends at the copyright.. you can add the warning text and the enter and exit buttons in a smaller size to the bottom to save on b/w.

I may look for a dressed couple pic tomorrow but that means I have to redo the entire page and I lost a hd today with lots of custom work in progress.

It's obviously very amateurish, and I don't want him to have that sort of look about the site. One of these days I'll be able to do more than that, but until then I was just hoping to spark off some of everyone else's creativity. :)

Uhm.. you can never tell what converts better, an amateurish looking entry or another done by an experienced designer like Mark Tiarra or Ironhouse popping into head right now..
You will be able to do much much more, just trust yourself and practice :) I for one would be more than happy to be able to write stories like yours.

Yes they had some nice photo there...I should have thought of that before I started it...most of the ones we like were like 400$ That seems a little high.

So far we have got design just kinda what we had in mind though...pretty much the sunset photo and free clip art shilotte are turning out very nice and kinda got the look we are going for.

To me putting pictures of people on there that I dont know...is just kinda wrong.

$400??? That's a lot... I did not know they charge that much, sorry. I know places where you can buy pics like that for $49.
They say a nice babe on your opening page helps a lot, this is the reason I added one to my entry and that pic is 90 c only, you know :)
But if you prefer clipart better, I can draw you whatever you want.. or just walk away and don't waste your time. :(

If you don't like the contest, you don't have to join it. I get tired of designers that come on and whine about contests. If I was the contest holder, it would lead me to doubt your professionalism.

I don't know if that's the message you want to send out because the winner isn't the only person that benefits from contests. I've been in contests where I didn't win anything, but still got contacted for 5K in work afterwards.

You get free advertisement for your efforts. Pay attention to what you do with that advertisement opportunity. Maybe you should think "win, win" instead of "whine, whine."
