Hi guys.
I don't often post here- I prefer to lurk :D
...But got this today. Me and a bunch of friends in the 'caveclan' for a hobby go round exploring urban structures, such as the odd bridge, water drains etc, and were today issued with this -

Does anyone know what legal rights we have [this is in australia] - freedom of speech etc, or if the hosting is offshore etc..

I know it's not adult, but you guys are the closest things I know to advice on internet law

It looks like your country has some sort of trespass laws regarding the bridges etc. So take it down until you can consult your own attorney. The local Police should be able to give you some sort of clue what those laws are as well. Seems odd that they didn't identify what the infractions were in some sort of detail. You might call that attorney and ask for them to be emailed to you as well.

I seem to recall a similar issue in Melbourne a long time ago.

Sydney CaveClan have a fantastic web site and pretty switched on members, have you spoken to them ?

No offence but this really isnt the forum for CaveClan associated activities or problems.

Silly me, I didn't realise you were actually in Sydney. I think contact the EFA http://www.efa.org.au and if you need to host the CaveClan website off-shore then contact me, I'll do it for free.

hey mate.. yeah, well we've all been chatting abotu it and stalemated.

I don't know about internet law.. so thought this might be the best place to come- sorry if that annoys..

Don't worry, 3 years and 8 months ago the Commonwealth Govt banned one of my sites, which is still running off shore

I'd be happy to host the CaveClan site gratis, once the site is offshore there is not alot they can do
