The industry standard is somewhere near 3 months. My site that I have been promoting myself for the past 5 months or so has an average retention of just over 2 months so the longer it goes the higher that average retention will be. But I would be happy with anything over 3 months.

If you are promoting a program you would need for it to retain for at least 3 months to warrant going for a revshare deal, and not a per signup deal.
