Experienced PHP / PERL / MySQL Programmer

Jupiter Hosting is looking for a PHP / Perl Programmer with the Data Base design skills to develop web based applications for the Adult Entertainment Industry. Applications that would make Lerdorf tear with Joy.

Not for the faint of heart, you will be designing applications that will run the some of the most advanced systems of the adult web industry. You will be exposed to adult material on a daily basis.

Located in Rocklin, CA (80 Miles West of Lake Tahoe), you will be working with a team of developers writing code for hosting customers. This is an On-Site Position. Must be able to work at our office in Rocklin, CA.

Need not apply if you cannot prove your skills in the following areas:

· Wotk directly with customers to asses needs and develop software products accordingly. Excellent interpersonal communications skills a must. Assholes need not apply.

· Streamlined PHP Programming / OOP (v5)? Send us some URLs of past projects directly responsible for coding.

· Streamlined PERL Programming ? Send us some URLs of past projects directly responsible for coding.

· Writing software to track the traffic patterns of web visitors as well as deign, develop, and constantly adapt highly advanced fraud-tracking systems.

· Write applications to track the patterns of web traffic (users) to almost an AI degree.

· You must be able to work consistently and effectively in a version control environment (CVS) exclusively on FreeBSD. If you do not have experience on FreeBSD, do not apply.

· Able to express a coherent, intelligent opinion on the direction needed to be taken during the application development process.

· 99% of your job will be in building web-based applications, or in support of web-based applications. Must have proven experience in doing so.

· Fast Paced Environment ? The environment we work in is extremely fast passed. We must adapt quickly to shifts in development, able to multi-task, and above all, do the aforementioned with a calm collected demeanor.

· Ability to develop scalable solutions. If you write bloated code, do not apply. Must think on in almost unimaginable scale. i.e.. What you will build here should not function on just a single server. The words ?Array?, ?Load Balancing?, ?and ?Farm? are used frequently.
