is a registrar allowed to register a domain that was being deleted?
i backordered a domain 4 months ago....the previous owner had the domain for 8 years. i researched the owner of the domain and found that the owner had all but disappeared from the internet....figured it was a good bet that the domain would drop.
ive watched it go through all the different domain statuses....redemption status and pending delete status. godaddy was to capture the domain today, but they failed. now i see the registar that had the domain orginally registered through them was able to get the domain back for another year. how can this be allowed? it wasnt reregistered by the original owner, it was just deleted and picked right back up by the registrar. im fucking pissed ![]() |
