Money orders go up to $500. You can only purchase $2,500 per day from a single store.
Cash deposits depend on your business and the bank. Obviously if you own a large retail op you'll have a lot of cash everyday to deposit so it won't raise eyebrows.
But if you walk in and deposit over $10K in cash and you normally don't do that, again the bank is required to file a form with the IRS, although many banks don't because its too time consuming.
