Battuss It's sad but a lot of sponsor shave. A lot of person here will tell you that your sponsor dosen't shave but when you do over 30 sales a day for few sponsors it's easy to see the game. When you do only one or two signup a day it's hard to say that. Anyway I understand you. :thumbsup

I have no idea. The 'shaving' plugin was built into the signup script and sent shaved signups to a different account through the same processor .... if there was a glitch then in theory you shouldn't have had any signups. I don't know what your sponsor was using, so I really cant comment. anyhow ... just accept shaving.... you really don't lose anything much. $35 per signup is bullshit.

Not really. I honestly don't know of any partnership sponsors that shave (apart from capping the payout on month length), but if you really thing that $35-$40 per signup is what you earnt for a sale then ..... you deserver to be shaved.

Ive heard that some 3rd party billers allow the paysites admin to disable rebills from being credited to affiliates. Any truth to that?

Yes, good question.

Its true. However the ones I'm aware of allow you to either credit all of the rebills or none of the rebills, you can't pick and chose which to credit so its not really a shaver.

If the programs didn't shave sales and hits, the payout rates would be so much lower, but most likely more.

I like to think that none of my sponsors are shaving either hits nor sales, but I would have to be lame to think otherwise right?

Sausage--I'd love to chat more with you offline about our service, but I have to disagree with you that shaving is a fact of life we have to live with....

Public companies can (and frequently do) cook their books, but that doesn't mean all companies do and that us investors need to put up with that crap....

We audit in many steps, and we've collectively worked for some of the largest sponsor programs and payment processors in the biz, so we're pretty savvy on the means to cheat. That said, as I mentioned above, we don't run paysites, and aren't interested in making money off the traffic, we're just trying to help the webmaster and in the process, establish our company as the auditor of choice....
