... but not gratefull enough to pay your affiliates for the work they've done, the traffic they've sent and the sign-ups they've generated. and you'll just term their accounts when non-payment issues which may be of interest to current and/or potential affiliates are made public ...

why is it the one and only time i ever had a problem with WEG Cash in over a year now, one e-mail to Jeff ( which was replied to in about an hour ... ) got it straightened out and the check really did go out the next day ...

sad is using what appears to be "intimidation and bullying" tactics to keep the bad press down. post on an insite thread on a webmaster board --we'll term your account and keep any money owed. mention insite on a thread --we'll term your account and keep any money owed. we'll change the TOS and use any "violation" of the above as a reason for termination.

look at the bright side insite: with over a thousand reads on this thread alone --your message is getting out. maybe y`all should have considered what that message would actually end up being before hand ...

I just read their TOS and the news posts they have on their webmaster area.. very sad.

The saddest thing is they convert better than most of the other Email programs, but resorting to terminating accounts when others post about them is using bullying tactics and I hope they reconsider this policy.

I have stories about them, after months every thing is resolved, but only because I am a vetern I knew better than go on the boards and post about it.

IF you guys have that in your TOS, you should also leave a recourse for the webmasters who slip through your giant crack of an accounting department and end up haveing to deal with the runaround for months from your support. How about if that happens you will double the webmasters payout?

<chuckle> as you can see from the sequence of events, i didn't post anything about having or not having a check owed or anything else. i made a post on what looked like a bullshit statement and called it just that. and i shared a good experience with WEG Cash. and they deemed THAT a violation.

looks like insite is reading the boards much like everyone assumes arcacia is. anybody posting will be looked up and if you have an account --buh-bye. your account is terminated.

We had a few threads on AVSlounge about the Visa deal last couple weeks, right now everyone is in the "Wait and see" mode... personally I don't care anymore since it's getting rediculous.

It's good to read such threads about sponsors not paying their webmasters, I'll never promote their sites.

i imagine a lot of the big sponsors are probably watching to see how this plays out. think about it: instead of having to answer on a board when something/someone screws up and an affiliate calls you on it, ya just send `em an e-mail --"your account has been suspended and all funds will be forfeited." ...

I've done a lot of business with Insite in the past and have never had a problem with payment.
