Go to a health food store and load up on vitamin C powder/crystals.... 1 teaspoon should = 2500-5000mg (2.5-5 grams)

When I'm really flu sick like that, I take about 5 grams a few times a day in some juice or water or something.

My suggestion is chicken soup first, salt and liquid is very important now then toast or boiled potatoes when you can eat again ..
