I've seen many tgp owners saying: "fuck I dont care about surfers, I just care about traffic feeding my tgps... with much traffic, even if you don't give your surfer the best honest threatment, usualy one will buy something out using my partner id codes"

ok I am a newbie when talking about tgps, but shouldn't the main ideia to be about threating your customers with the best respect ever, to grow a quality list of bookmarkers and sell listings and banners spaces in the future? That may or will for sure generate negative profits over some time, but will pay off in the future.

ALOT of time

You can make dollars on day one if you want but going for an established clean site in the future will give you nothing on day one, so most people get greedy and start doing dailers and popups etc.

Clean takes a long time..... I have one that is about 6+ months old and it's hard as fuck to get it traffic that I'm content with, I'm use to doing tgp's with shaving and blindlinks and this clean one is frustrating, so I dont look at the stats much and just keep adding new shit and updating and hoping one day it will take off.

I see all these guys making super clean tgps thinking they'll have tons of returning people within 2 weeks. Well it wont happen.

I recently made my first tgp - without expecting anything...i used my own and hosted galleries and set skimming to 50%

I got it up to 15k in a few days after that i got bored and now its steady at 5k or something (which is nothing ofcourse) the script keeps it alive and it makes does make me some money without looking at it. (prolly 1 sale a day)

If you are aiming at bookmarkers prepare to work daily on trades (since you cant skim too much if you want returning people) and reviewing galleries (you only want the best)

After a while you'll have 5k returning bookmarkers which make you maybe 1 sale a day but it takes 3 hours a day to manage the site.

Maybe im wrong tho, im not really interested in the tgp game.

How do you promote it? Do you promote the same as the other tgps with all the crap?

How much is required for you to be content with the traffic?

I am new and want to start submitting my galleries butt I hate hate hate hate popups I know they pay butt I hate them alot

I force small amounts from my tgp's and also have some perm links on about 5-6 of our tgp's... it is totally CLEAN I do have a list of sites in a toplist section but it doesnt send much back to any of the trades but the prod is FANTASTIC!

I also am adding more and more content to it in hopes of adding it to some link lists and other directory sites that I can find. Just going for old school, long term, hard link trades. It's still work in progress with the adding of new things and content and some of the content I have, besides galleries, need updated a few times a week. So I keep my fingers cross and hope I get more bookmarkers, it has 70% of bookmarkers now with a small drizzling of se traffic....

so you started your tgp with your own pre-made galleries and hosted galleries only? where did you promote it to get people to send you galleries over?

Skimming is sending a % of the people who click a gallery link to a trade. It lowers the quality of the trade but it will make your site grow.
