Respect is earned, Brad. Ron is a nice guy but when he acts like an ass (and we're ALL capable of it, I can be a supreme bitch too), does that mean people should kiss his ass just because he's been around a long time? Shawn probably didn't even know who he was, all he knew is he was being disrespected at his own party. I'd be fucking pissed, and be it Ron, you, or anyone else, if I was being treated badly at my own function, better fucking believe I'm gonna be a rude bitch to you. One cannot expect to rest on the laurels of their "achievements" to have people treat them well (especially when people don't always know who you are on sight). You want respect, you give it back. You want hospitality, then act like it.

If Shawn DID do this, and he DID know who he was dealing with, he's got brass balls, and I bet Ron would laugh about it too, once he stopped being pissed. You say Shawn will be here and gone because of on incident (which hasn't even been confirmed). Personally I think the opposite, and it's nice to see someone who doesn't feel like he has to shove his nose up everyone's asses just because they've been around for a long time. That doesn't mean shit and you know it.
