...for two days. It is up this morning but I am not satisfied that it will stay up today. For the past two days it is up for maybe five or ten minutes and then will be down for an hour or two. I have called several times but cannot get any information other than "we are aware of the problem and are working on it". Fucking irratating to say the least.

Fucking ISP is going up and down today...like a yo-yo. Well...up to this point it has been reliable since I have been here in Northern California and I cannot recall PF complaining about it. It has been up 99.9999% of the time...other than electrical outages...that occurred a couple of times. It is a local outage and I suspect the local techs expertise. I would not think that Satellite would be solution...and I do not know if DSL is available in this area...though I may inquire.Originally posted by Honeyslut

I called again...and basically demanded to know what the problem is and when it will be corrected. This time I finally got some info...although I could hardly understand the guy. It is a local outage...and has something to do with a hardware device that converts the signal so that it can be sent out over the fiber optic line. They thought they had repaired the device but their repair created another problem so they now have to order hardware to replace the current hardware...or something along that line.When you're running down my country hoss...you're walking on the fighting side of me!
