I feel the same way, as long as you realize that it's all good. Nothing I love seeing more then asshats precisely describing how they're successful on message boards then wondering why that method no longer works two months later.

but, really, I was just reading "unix programming"...what's that from...the 70's?

they talk about how unix was a small enough idea to fit into one person's (very talented) head....we are talking twenty to thirty years ago.

of course, they were using mainframes, punch cards and printing out results...but the tools are the same tools today...that's how I see it....

maybe bigger and faster, but still the same tools....
