How often to you buy a new computer?

Do porn webmasters buy computers more often than other pc users? How often do you replace or upgrade your pc?

Do you build your own system?

List the specs of your work pc!

Mine is a Radio Shack Trs 80 with a four color monitor and a ten megabyte hard drive. heheheh No wait that was my first computer or was it the commadore 64? What was your first system?

Happy Monday everyone!
Joe

Nice systems Reak!

I'm looking at buying a new system. Not sure if I want to get a good cheap clone or go with a Sony Vaio.

I buy a new computer every 2-3 years. This time at 2 years I bought a smokin' camera instead, though. So I'm not sure when my next computer will be. Maybe a little while longer. I'm a junkie, though, and I know it.

I have a bunch of not very new PCs, macs and an HP box here.

I have build my own system (IronBox Linux), that is already used by some companies for high security and non stop stations and high productivity servers.

About how often do I change my PC ? Well, my wrkstation is a PII at 350MHz, same as my test server. Of course, there is a mosix cluster on my network, so when I need more power, I just add a new node to the cluster or rearrange priorityes

Last time I bought a box... I think it was one week ago or less.

I have only one windows box and I use it to play old games. I have never worked seriously with Windows XP or Win2k. I guess that an operative system that sucks 128 MB to say only "helo" is not worth the effort even to install it.
