Verotel...

Globill down the drain. I read here that only CCbill and Epoch are safe for this time now.

What about Verotel, lots of smaller niche sites run them, are they in the dangerzone aswell ?

I also use them and used to use globill. I can tell u I am very nervous now about Verotel!! But hopefully they don't also go down too soon.

Right now I'm looking at getting my own merchant account but that itself is pretty scary, with all these fines...

Hey twist.

I just started using them in the last few weeks, and they seem pretty good..

I just keep wondering how long any of the companies are safe...

as for Verotel, so far so good.

I beg to differ. Netbilling is a very solid solution these day.

How is Netbilling a safe solution where as one has to get his own account.
Unless my memory is a bit hazy, Netbilling is only a processor and does nto provide a merchant account.

Please clearify.

Who isn't in the "dangerzone"? Processing is a volatile business and no matter who says what about "long term strategic plans being in place" - that needs to adapt at the blink of any eye. It seems to boil down to the dancing ability of the management to anticipate the future.

Inclined to agree with tomax on Verotel - I would be nervious. The reason has more to do with the management ability than actual processing tho.

I know about Netbilling
we have been using them for our own merchant account for our content site for 2 years now. They have been great.

I have been toying with the idea of having my own merchant account. But that seems like a nightmre also.
This is why I was wondering what solution Netbilling has.

One could figure that any of the compliant processors should be much safer than the non-compliant ones.

It might help to make a list of the ones that are out of compliance and subtract that from the whole no?

Hi,

We do not provide the merchant account but do have the relationships with the banks and ISOs to get you setup with one. Nio processor actually sets up merchant accounts as they are always underwritten by a member bank of Visa/Mastercard. We help establish new accounts daily. IMHO is is certainly worth the expense and time to get a merchant account setup. As you know,. we hasve all of the tools to help you stay in business and be profitable, while maintaining the control you shoulds have as a business owner.

Thank you, Mitch Farber

Sounds great!
Keep in mind that it takes abou 30 days to get approved by the bank once you submit all of the required docs.

Mitch

Hey Mitch. What percentage of adult merchants that you convince to apply get approved? Do you have a set up fee? Do you get a referral kick back from your partner merchant banks regardless of whether someone is approved? What is their application fee?
