bulky cds, tiny mp3 player
as i'm shipping most of my things to Montreal this week, tonight i'm finally ripping the 100 or so CD's i never listened to enough to bother encoding before.
having all of the cd's i've ever purchased my entire life, on a little mp3 player the size and weight of my cell phone is a pretty heady thing. convergence

Sounds like a 3rd packet for you Quiet! Using someones patent on compression and transmitting it thru a cable of some sort is a direct infringement! Maybe you should set aside a file drawer for purple packets!

I just converted all 1200 of my CDs to MP3s so I can carry my tunes where ever I go.
MP3 players rule!!

yea i have a really small one, only holds 256mb which is perfect for most of the stuff i do. and long enough for a plane ride.
i like to drive and i usually listen to my jeep stereo when im driving, with cds. so multiple gigabytes is really not needed. |
