Mind answering a few questions then?

What country is your merchant bank in?
What country(ies) are you physically locate?
What is your backup plan if your merchant account gets frozen at Visa or MC's request?

I haven't heard anything. I didn't hear anything about ACPay or Globill, either.

Probilling fucked up a few month ago by losing their their MA.

They couldnt process for 24-48 hours i believe.

It;s amazing they are still around.

Isn't Probiling run out of Canada with merchant accounts in Europe? There was a major euro bank that just got out of the adult biz, deutchebank I believe. Hopefully that did not affect PB.

                                            Probilling ? Never more !

My friend wanted to do business with them. He registered succesfully, gave all the information an started to study how to integrate theit system on their web.
Then he found some stupid bug in their affiliate system. So wrote to them about bug an just to be sure he asked them, before starting real processing, whether is his country allowed or banned from processing.
They've send e-mail with only one sentence, something like 'Your accout was cancelled' and that was all, no sorry, nor any explantation.
When he asked, what';s going on, they answered that hos country is banned. (Didn't they saw it when he registered and they approved him for testing ?)

No $750 fees - proBilling transactions are handled by their company in the UK. Assume it is similiar to CCBill and IBill set up there where are no fees applicable.

It doesn't matter where they are, they are still getting paid by VISA for processing VISA transactions and when VISA goes ahead and freezes their account it won't matter how solid they are. I give them 3 months at best, but realistically I say a month and a half.

Alas I agree whole heartedly. I think most people know I'm no fan of Probilling, and that's due to very bad experiences I've had with them and my knowledge of several others having the same.

To those people who ran to Probilling to avoid paying the $750 fee, you are being SOO foolish because it IS only a matter of time before Visa cracks down on PB no matter how many times they say "We are compliant".

If you can't afford to pay $750 for this, then you do NOT belong in the adult entertainment biz period!

And as far as the person who wrote about their friends site being
cancelled without warning and getting only a one sentence reply..that's another part of PB's problem. Yes, they will hook you up as SOON as possible! (They did me when Lancelot caved on me in September 2002 and I thought PB was the best thing since sliced bread at the time!). But then all sorts of things start happening to you (negatively) and you NEVER get any explanation. To this day, even though I had used pb as my backup, I'm still banned from their forum (for criticizing) and was told by Colin that he had NO idea why. Of course, he didn't try to change that situation either.

Another friend doing pretty good biz was dumped because one of his sites had the word "TEEN" in it. No warning before hand, only the short email after he enquired. Public relations is not PB's strong suit, and their understanding of how Visa works and the willingness of guilible webmasters to believe THEM will prove costly for all involved in the end!

Sure does matter where they are - That is the whole point about cross border trading.

I don't know how their business is run.. same as the rest.. like CCBillEU, IBillEU and all the other Euro processors. But I do know that paying some $750 fee is not some "magical solution" and it is not part of any deal with any other country other than the US.

But there is no way I have any confidence in *any* processor!
