I'll be curious to see who rises to the top in the next 6 months after the paypal fallout and all the new replacements came up running to grab that adult & mlm biz....

90 days is plenty of time to start a multi-million dollar payment system.

10 bucks says their CC merchant doesn't even know they are middle-manning transactions

ok when I was looking into alternatives for Paypal I also looked at stormpay and epassporte. The problem I saw with stormpay is the amount of service fees to fund your account with your credit card. I was going to put $5000 into an account but they wanted to charge me 10% of that. Rediculous. I'm not sure if epassporte had those kinds of fees I could not find a fees section on their site. If a solution comes out that is very much like Paypal where the fees aren't charged to fund your account with a credit card or with your bank account then I will definately sign up.

You will lose.

ePassporte are expensive for the buyer to use. Hard to verify unless you have online access to your CC account. Do not do confirmation emails back to the merchant, will not wire money into my bank and after being registered with them for 2 months I still have not got my Electron card to withdraw MY money.

Since opening up with MultiCards on the the business with ePassporte stopped dead. But someone will come along and fill the gap Paypal left. It could be ePassporte, but they need a lot of work to be done first.

Must admit it's not the best i've seen..
At least they could've hired a decent designer, and a better translator

But it seems like they got some nice features afterall..

Btw, the "sponsored by" thing, only shows up if you are clicking
on a referral link, delete your cookies and go directly to the site,
and it doesn't show up..

Paypal was started by a business man and a graduate student in cryptography originally designing ways for PDA's to talk to each other securely and perform transactions to which they added a payment scheme which eventually turned into paypal. It was a well thought out and well funded idea with many twists and turns such as determining whether or not they would be a bank and what government regulations would apply, as well as getting in ahead of the game before any CC companies started offering similar packages. Then of course the tie in to Ebay happened and the ingenious marketing campaign of giving $10 to all new members.

If you think this is how paypal started you deserve to lose your money using this or some similar gayness

Sure they have had growing pains and they aren't perfect, but with Epoch behind them (I know, seperate company, etc.) I trust they will be around much longer than the others. I trust them much more than these other systems from people I've never even heard of.

Atleast they tell you they're keeping your money. To not wire out the money you have in your epassport account is just gay, like, it is YOUR money NOT theirs and if YOU want YOUR money you should be able to take it.

Gotta love a company that wants to accepts 1000's and 1000's of dollars in transactions but can't cough out the 500.00 for a website design..

Hi Guys,

Looking at this seems OK. For us in the UK this type of service would allow us to open up our UK user base to global adult webmasters, numbers we have 500,000.

I have made contact with VUPay and am interested to see if we can work with them. My only concern as a payment provider is the load volumes $50 min, in my experience this will cause issues to the end user.

Granted the site is not the most stunning but does it need to be to be a good service?

As I have said in other posts we are keen to talk with anyone who has a UK bank account and wants to take payments from our members, to date only 75 people have come forward.

Doesn't yahoo have an instant pay system similar to paypals? I remember using them when they allowed adult auctions on their site. I have no idea if it still exists, but it would be nice for ebay/paypal to get some decent competition.

I never trust new online banking systems till they prove good - I was stupid enough to try www.fethard.biz - They have never sent me what cash they have of mine - It's only a couple of hundred - But I still hassle the bastards without getting anywhere!

The only good thing about stormpay I have ever seen is from posts on the bbs boards from guys with links to stormpay with their refer code in the url. Stormpay charges 10% to upload funds where epassporte charges 5%. I would love to see a alternative to epassporte, but at 10% Stormpay is simply not a choice for me. I mean I can use ccbill or other vendors for this amount.

I always thought that background color of a page was just a minor detail... until i saw this spam today.

I went to that page and when I hit the back button, I realized that it was that terrible sickly looking yellow background that makes that page look totally amateur and completely shitty beyond measure.

I called epassporte and they said they will not post their fees to the web. I then asked what are the fees and immediately understood why they won't. Their fees are outrageous. I stopped listening to the pitch said thankyou and hung up.

By fee comparison StormPay looks much better than vupay. They charge you for touching your atm card and forgetting you have one.

Furthermore how the hell do you have a VISA & MC logo on the same card associated with the same account number??
