Spotbrokers new, nothing about Globill or Acacia or anything else but us ;)

In light of all the bad news, I figured I'd post some good news ))

We have added thumbnail previews to the system - Sellers will now have an additional way to link to Spotbrokers and buyers have another opportunity to customize the traffic targetting.

Sellers can now substitute our thumb preview links into any thumbnail spot on your page. Thumb links are available in two popular sizes, 88x88 and 90x120, in order to preserve the feel of your pages. You'll find instructions in the settings link beside your domain in the source domains section.

Buyers can now purchase thumb preview traffic using the spidered and reviewed thumbs on our server, or have the option of uploading their own custom thumbs for an even better return on their traffic investment(Movie category buyers are strongly urged to upload their own thumbs). Check out the review link beside your gallery in Manage URLs.

you use a script for your linking where it rotates the gallery pool correct?

if that's the case, are the thumbs generated using the same script? do they rotate as well based on the next gallery in line?

What about the fact that traffic quality was totally ruined after you guys cancelled all the "cheaters"? Traffic went down by half to my galleries and sales went down a LOT more.

        And thats after trying out

i would hate to think that a thumb i submit would be used to promote someone elses gallery and someones elses thumb to promote mine as well.

That's interesting, you should talk to Backov about it. What we send out to programs as referral sales has gotten much better conversion ratios since the cheaters were canned.

If you're talking scripts you gotta talk to Backov, you know I'm a technical dunce. He'll be back in a bit and I'll have him stop in and answer q's on the thread.

I have a recommendation. You could add a "suspend" link for each buyer's TGP links.

I sometimes reduce Spotbrokers traffic, the only way is to delete some links. And when I want to re-add the link it takes hours to be approved. Already approved links should be suspended temporarily, this will save submission and approval time...

I will have Backov take a look at that idea. I don't know if or when it could be done, but he certainly will.

                              Ok, got some time. ;>

This is a brand new extension, and we've already had some stupid bugs related to bringing it live, but they're all fixed now as far as I can tell. If anyone sees more, PLEASE let me know immediately so I can squish em.

The thumbs were acquired from the target galleries in ALL cases. When you click on a link, you will always be taken to the gallery shown, except for a few minute period after update while the slaves get updated with the new url/thumb info.

As for rotation - it is exactly the same algorithm as the described extension for rotation, so yes, the galleries get rotated out as much as they can, favoring the user galleries over the filler (you will always get user galleries before filler).

Here's two taken from our test page.
