I dont think Brad is looking to save money.. but make sure they are done right..

There is no one better to spend money on that yourself..haha

I had my teeth whitened like 3 years ago.. read about it in playboy cost me like $500..it was worth it..

I had my eyes done with that lasix thing.. cost was like 4500 at the time.. i could have had it done for half that..but this doc was one of the best..

Peace of mind was well worth the $$

Although I think retro wooden teeth are a great idea!

Veneers are definitely the way to go to fix up any minor imperfections. It's considered cosmetic, though, so many insurance companies don't cover it.
As far as the person who said the only way to go is porcelain, that's not necessarily true. There are other - better - alternatives out there. Empress veneers beat out porcelain by far.
One problem with veneers is, when you shave your tooth down, the stump is usually darker, which means there's a high chance it will show through the veneer. With Empress veneers you can use shadeable cement which eliminates that problem.
You can only get veneers on anterior teeth (the front 6 teeth on the maxillary and the front 6 on the mandibular); not the posteriors.
EscortBiz was right on the price. Dentists mark up their cost by an average of 600+%. I'm in the dental industry and our cost for veneers is $158 each. One of my dentists turns around and charges the patient $1,400 each for our product.
I do have before and after pictures of some veneers we just made 3 days ago that the Dr. inserted on Wednesday. I'd have to crop the picture, though, before I could post it. Due to the new HIPAA regulations, I can't post the patient's face.
And that, boys and girls, is my 2¢. :)
