                    A few things that nobody has mentioned:

                    First, McGuire Air Force Base is located roughly 50 miles from the World Trade Center. Fighters can move at roughly 1500 mph. That's roughly TWO MINUTES to intercept. Tack in another minute to accelerate, we're at three minutes. Yet this still happened. FOUR TIMES. I don't believe it.

                    Second, the news was reporting and the population still believes that the Pennsylvania plane (the fourth plane) crashed. They found plane parts miles from the crater. How would parts get scattered in a multiple mile radius if the plane hit the ground? The only logical explanation is that the plane was shot down in midair, and those pieces landed as they fell. The people on that plane were not heroes, they were victims. Furthermore if indeed there was a terrorist on board that plane, they were at fault for not stopping him.

                    The only people I truly feel sorry for for the loss of life are the people who died in the first tower to get hit, and the rescuers that died in the aftermath. The first tower to get hit had no way of seeing it coming, they didn't stand a chance. The passengers of all the planes did not try to stop the hijack. The second tower should have been evacuated by the time the second plane hit. The Pentagon is a military target. The firemen and rescue crews are heros for going in and pulling people out. That is brave and risky work and I cannot respect that enough.

                    I'd be curious to see if one of the victims' families in the first tower could sue passengers of the first plane for wrongful death due to gross neglegence.

                        You know what else really gets my goat?

                        Legal compensation for victims' families based on the way the victim died. If he falls in a hole at a construction site, that's one price. If a doctor screws up, it's another price. If a plane crashes, it's another price. If he's murdered by OJ, it's another price. Nobody takes into account the net present value of that person's income. It's possible that the family of a dead migrant worker can get multiples from a medication mistake than a CEO in a plane crash. What is the logic in that?

                                    But do you seriously think that the passangers had any idea at all what sort of shit was going down?
                                    And how long do you think it takes to fly past JFK and to the WTC?
                                    The fighter jets wouldn't have made it in three minutes! It would probably take them at least three minutes to get the pilots in the jets, and start it up, then maybe another three minutes to reach the plane. Then what, shoot them down over the middle of Manhattan? There was no way in hell people would have known this was coming, no reason to send fighter jets up untill they went pass JFK.

                                    I've never heard such crap before in my life! Sue the people in the first plane, you should sue you parents for bringing you up stupid!!

                                        And about 20 percent of Germans in all age groups hold this view, a survey of 1,000 people conducted for the weekly Die Zeit said.

                                        It also said 68 percent of all Germans felt the media had not reported the full truth behind the attacks, in which some 3,000 people were killed when hijacked planes were crashed into the World Trade Center and the Pentagon.

                                            That is one up on another incident in Vietnam. A bomber hit a village in error and killed or messed up most of the people. The CIA were running around with $50 bills... $50 if your leg/s were gone.. $100 if your family were wiped...

                                            There ain't no logic!
