lil2rich4u2...I see that you are promoting the CE Mags..You have to realize that If a surfer has ever signed up with "any" Ce mag before...you won't get ($1.50) for the same e-mail address.
Also some surfers don't "automatically" check their e-mail afterwards..you have to give it some time. And with the Ce Mags there is always a chance for an "upsell" $15 . I know you just started promoting the Ce Mags because I have seen some of your other post on here and the CE webmaster board. You have to give it some time and "tweak" your page. I would suggest making a "text menu" table with all of the CE Mags and give your surfers a wider selection. If you truly want some constructive tips..go to the CE webmaster board and Rowdy will help you out:thumbsup The very people that tell you not to use free email sponsors ...Have free email sponsors in the exit consoles of their pps sites. There are many paysites that use CE mags in their exit consoles..I have even seen CE mags text links in the exit console of "other" free email sponsors. It is a good program and there are tons of cheap surfers that don't have credit cards don't miss out on them. bobv |

you went through this entire thread and all you can come up with is a spelling error? sheesh, talk about nothing better to do ... |
Get rid of that second page. Add some text similar to this or what you had in your second page.
Tell the surfers that they have to enter a real email address because there login and password will be sent to them when they hit the confirm link. Yes that one line of text near the banner/whatever gets clicked on really does make a difference. Surfers are really lazy |

As has already been pointed out to you, the solution to your problem is: * learn how to provoke response you desire from the surfer. * don't waste your time with worthless second pages if you don't know how to sell. * don't waste SE traffic on free email progs except as a last resort. * your ad or ad page should reflect the style and tone of the tour you're sending the surfer to. ...and as any direct marketer will tell you, correct spelling instills buyer confidence and makes a quantifiable difference in conversions. |

Having said that, if you insist on correcting people's spelling on a webmaster board, you'll be in for a lot of work, Rorschach. You haven't really given very useful advice either; far too general. |

But just so I'm not a total asshole, here's my advice to lil2rich, if he's going to continue on his foolish path of sending quality traffic to an email program: * make a single sales page (or a large table ad) that reflects the tour you're sending the surfer to. Same colour scheme, fonts, similar pics/ photography style, same models if you can. Use minimal graphics to ease the surfer into the theme of the tour. * use a large, clear, clickable screenshot of the tour. * the page has to briefly but effectively spell out the benefits to the surfer of joining the site (not just features). For example - BAD: 100% free pics! - I can get millions of those on my local TGP. What is the driving reason that I absolutely have to sign up? What can I get from the site that I can't get for free, anywhere else? * your sales copy has to be specific and believable. Specifics sell over generalities. Provide concrete details of what they can find inside - specific sets, models, movies. * you can also use specifics to arouse curiosity in the surfer. * speak in an active voice and address the surfer in the second person. * make almost everything clickable. * the bulk of the page has to load instantly (so use mostly plain text). * maybe use a very limited amount of animation to draw the eye where you want it to go. * the eye should flow down the page, absorbing the sales copy (which should be compact, preferably presented in an extended bullet point format) with the images reinforcing what you have to say. * all images should have a caption which states a benefit to the surfer of joining the site. * use a news or announcement quality - "introducing," "announcing" etc. * instead of banging the surfer over the head to use their real email addy (and thus making it look like a scam), reassure them that their email addy isn't going to be sold or spammed (ha ha) and convince them that it's a fair trade for the wealth of quality porn that they're going to get. * have your main strong call to action (aka a big fat enter link) at the bottom or at the bottom right next to the scroll bar (with the text from the previous point just above in small font). Try to work a benefit in here too. * don't believe all the hype about allowing the site to sell the surfer - remember that any sponsor is going to tell you that because they want your traffic to feed their exit consoles. You have to presell (but not oversell). * if the surfer isn't excited about the site they're going to see when they click off your page, you're not doing your job right. * stop being such a goddamned cocksucker. |

I asked for legitimate help, got some good advice and followed it. I will see how it goes i supose. I have since changed my site to somewhat of a paysite review site that shows screenshots of the actual splash off of 5 different sites, explains the price and has a CLICK HERE link. I have a CE mag on exit ... we will see how it works out i supose. |
