I doubt they will be able to double license the same company but who knows when dealing with the 9th circuit out there. lol Their track record is dismal at best with all the turnarounds they get from the Supreme Beings.

If you purchase videos for ONE of 5000 websites that you run, does this mean that you have to pay 2% of the gross for all your sites combined? Or is it just 2% of the gross for the site with the video.

And if you produce videos for ONE of 5000 websites that you run, does this now mean that you have to pay 4% of the gross for all your sites combined? What if you only make $20 from the video site and $100,000 from all the other sites. Do you have to pay them $4000? By my calculations you would be $3980 in the hole on the video investment.

I really hope they make the mistake of going after Larry Flynt. He would kick their collective asses to hell and back

I'm not a lawyer, or an accountant but I think it would be really important to start incorporating each and every domain name you have.

They all become their own seperate little entities. Don't get me wrong this won't protect you by "leasing" feeds to yourself etc.

But if you have a web design business as well as a paysite it might be wise to make them two completely different businesses so ACACIA can come after only the one that is involved in video.

That way it's only 2% of your paysite's gross, and not 2% of your overall company's gross that could include your design biz if you have them combined.

Anyway, just a thought.
