:stoned Who Is Going To The Stones Concert in Toronto?

I'd love to go but my plane for Miami leaves the same day as the concert. I saw the Stones back when they were doing their Voodoo Lounge tour. One hell of a show!

Those of you that are going are going to have a blast! But you better get their early if you want good seats.

Yeah too bad , I leave around the same time as you. Also I had seen the Stones at a private show a few yrs ago at the Horseshoe Tavern. Going to a place with 400,000 other people would just diminish that experience

It's going to be insane! I am not going to go, with all the restrictions and the traffic and the lack of TTC I can't very well see it being a good time IMO. I would rather work.

Well I think the CBC and Muchmusic are going to air it live Sherie, so you can sit at work and watch it on the tube anyways.

This is being billed here as the largest rock concert in Canadian history. It's not just a "Stones concert".... it is the SARS benefit concert, with main acts:

Stones
Rush
AC-DC
The Guess Who
...and tons more.

Attendance predictions are ranging in the 300-500 thousand person range, could even be more.

Yea would rather do that then be down there with that many people! It is probably going to be one hell of a show, but I can't stand huge crowds like that...

See ya in FLA Mark!

I always ask myself at their age what the hell are they doing still touring. Either they have alot of debts or they just love playing music!

I get the feeling that some of these grandfather bands simply don't know how to do anything except what they've always done. It has become a way of life for them.
