Which do you like better? Personally, I'm not a fan of Jesse James...seems like he tries to hard on camera to show off the tough guy image.

There's no comparison. American Choppers blows away Monster Garage. The Monster Garage "challanges" are usually pretty stupid and always useless. There's no artistry or real personality to the show.
Sometimes I'll watch an episode of Monster Garage if it just happens to be on but I won't turn on the TV specifically to watch it and I don't care if I miss it.

American Chopper:
Amazing what they can do with metal and come up with creatively. I've had bikes for years now and couldn't have come up 1/2 as creative as some of the custom work they've done.
Only prob, and I hope this doesn't happen, success in this stuff seems to become a problem for the traditional small business which isn't capable of handling high demand. Jesse James organization is the slowest to deal with now that they're famous, go to the site and try and just get a T-shirt 8-12 week shipping delay. Called them for rims for the truck, 8-12 weeks.
Either way, both shows directly/indirectly promote the motorcycle, and anything bikers can do to get more positive press is a good thing.Comment

I like both shows, but he old man (father) on American Choppers really gets on my nerves. Too much talk too little action.
The kid is good, talented. I know the kid gets side tracked sometimes but basicly the kid has a lot of talent.

how much you guys wanna bet they moved their shop because 'OC' is world famous for Orance County California and they were tired of being confused with being from the Westcoast.
Orange County California is old school lowrider territory, long choppers and tough hardcore oldschool los angeles fabrication man westcoast style.

WESTCOAST CHOPPERS makes some bad as bikes as well as some sick rides, old school low rides LBC style.
Theme bikes are great, Pauly Sr, and JR are talented, noone is doubting that, but lets differntiate betweem a HOLLYWOOD SHOW and an oldschool fabrication garage with YEARS Of experience not 3 years ;)
Both teams are talented, but a college team MUSt be seperated from an NFL team ;)
