Casino Dealers
How much do the casino dealers make. And do you think they get payed more in Vegas then anywhere else? I really heard that they get payed around 65 grand ahha I hope its true. Also anyone know some good books on blackjack... Thanks

A friend of mine makes about $1K-$2K per week. He's really good and makes most of the money doing private games. He works here at Seminole Bingo.

Las Vegas dealers are (on average) the best paid dealers in the world.
By my research, a new dealer starting at the smaller hotels will make $24,000 / yr easily. This is only after 6 weeks of school. The dealers at the larger hotels will make $32,000 and up to as much as $100,000 depending on the section and the method of tip pooling. Then there is always that possibility of dealing to someone who wins a million and drops you 10%. |

It varies quite a bit depending on where you work. Dealers in Vegas generally make the most. No matter where you work, whether it's for a tribe or casino company in the midwest or in Vegas for the meccas, gaming dealers can make a good, comfortable living. The gaming industry is a good paying one.
