The track that powered all the original rap

James Brown's funky drummer

James Brown's music built not only the foundation of today's rap scene, but, also the front door and the kitchen floor of the house that rap lives in.

It all flows from James......

i dont think best hiphop track of all time was made after 1990.
funny how not one tribe or krs track was mentioned even.

Chichio 07-21-2003 06:19 PM

2pac: Troublesome '96 - All Eyez On Me - Aganist All Odds (too many of Pac's to mention)

Outkast: Player's Ball - Elevators

Wu Tang: Triumph (good suggestion from before)

It's hard one to call, those to just some candidates.

That's it in a nutshell... except for Run DMC and B.I.G. They were overrated.

Throw in a PE, BDP a little 2 Live Crew and some UGK and you gotta good list.

Head head and more head!
