What a load of bollocks. Do you run an escort business?
I fucking hate it when amateurs reply.....
Escorts.com receives a very large amount of targetted traffic. Unlike the porn business where a conversion might generate $30 - $50 of business, the escort business can pay upto $300 or more for a conversion.
Sure it may be geographically dependent but it does pay considerably more and if the girl is good then she might get a return customer. Escort traffic is far more valuable than porn traffic so dont give me that crap.

Actually I run over 25 escort sites including several that have been featured on AVN and Salon.com. I wouldn't call myself an amateur. I proudly make decent money with 25k uniques/day escort sites.
Escorts.com is a joke. It is a bit player in the online escort game. The sites I mentioned in my last thread each have dozens of employees and generate millions in revenue with 100ks of uniques a day.
You should think and read before posting a reply like that.
You should also separate an escort agency with an escort directory, one offers prostitution (which is illegal in this country) and the other adult classifieds or reviews (which is legal).
Have a nice day.
Alexa ranking:
Escorts.com: 18,803

Dude, you're an idiot. Escorts.com is an awesome domain. It doesn't need to be developed. It doesn't require advertising. It just gets users, willing to pay. It's the sex.com of online escort sites. It has a steady flow of traffic that will always be there.

You forget about content. Where do you get the ladies to advertise? How do you convince a user to pay to see the listings if Eros-Guide.com and others offer it for free. An escort site isn't a porn site where you buy some MPEG movies and charge admission. Escorts are very, very picky about where they are willing to spend their ad dollars. If you create an escort review site, where do you get the reviews? It requires huge advertising or marketing.
I can't think of a single escort in my region that bought advertising on escorts.com.
There are several hundred escort sites in the USA... maybe 40-50 make money.

Note: I said the domain is awesome. If you can't develop a site properly, and you've got a bunch of type-in traffic, it's simple. You just send the type-in traffic to a site that converts. Escorts.com = free money if you own the domain. You don't have to do shit. Just slap up a banner to one of the escort affiliate program's sites.

That was my original point! I recommended that he follow EscortBiz's advice and just redirect for affiliate money on EscortBiz's HotLocalEscorts.com.
