Weirdest movie ever

The rule is you an't tell someone that their movie isn't as weird as yours unless you have seen each.

The weirdest movie I have seen without question
was the movie The Dark Backward

It has Judd Nelson
Bill Paxton
tons of fat chicks, and Wayne Newton

go see it if you want to see a truly dark comedy.

One of the weirdest movies I've seen in the past few years is Magnolia. When that guy looked out his car window up at the sky and got hit in the face with a fucking giant toad I thought "WFT??"

Totally weird.

Barbarella. I remember thinking Jane Fonda was hot, but the movie itself was really weird. Especially the dude banging her wearing angel wings.

you're right
that movie was warped

that frog thing- it happens all the time in the outback of australia
apparently it happends when the temperature goes extreme in a short period of time
the heat makes the water evaporate so fast that it takes up fish and frogs eggs
they stay up there in the clouds until it rains

you'll often hear olf bush men talking about it "raiing fish or toads"

i imagine it happens in other hot areas as well

Pulp fiction is a weird one, I could take about 1/2 of that
before I turned it off, I do realize it's a top favorite among many people.

That reminds me

another worst movie

Jackie Brown

At least with Barbarella you knew up front that it was of the erotic-fantasy genre. You expected some psychedelic weirdness in that movie.

With Magnolia however, it caught you off guard completely. Here you have like 14 little sub-plots going on all at once, all seemingly random yet somehow intertwined. You have a smart kid on a gameshow who pisses himself while on the air. You have a cop who falls in love with a crack whore, then loses his gun and shits his pants while someone is shooting at him. You have a woman that married an old rich guy, and now that he's dying she finally realizes that she actually loves him and regrets "sucking other guy's cocks"..... and that whole "Toads falling from the sky" thing......... and more. That movie was one lone acid trip.

Most anything from Dario Argento

But the weirdest of all would have to be "Audition"

The Guinnea Pig movies are definitely high up on the weird factor

Anything Lynch is weird.

Blue Velvet is priceless with Dennis Hopper and his oxygen mask.
Mulhullond Drive was a WTF???

I say Naked Lunch was bizarre.

Vampires Kiss: I don't know what that was about but Nick Cage eating roaches was pretty out there too.

I watch too many movies.

The weirdest one that comes to my mind is Hudson Hawk with Bruce Willis. A totallay useless movie that I still cannot fit into any genre.

A burglar who sings songs to time his burglaries and no actual storyline got me.

Happiness...just the final scene with the dog is enough to classify it as the weirdest movie ever.

yeah Jean-Pierre Jeunet, i'd take him any day over Lynch.. Juenet's films i find are more inventive. Eraserhead would have to be up there for me in the weirdness stakes, but lost highway et al just shat me it was so self consciously trying to be strange it annoyed me. I hate when people say this.. but seriously.. i like his old stuff better than his new stuff..

nowhere in the same class as these other movies in the weirdness stakes, but recent at least was donnie darko - a very good off kilter movie.

okay my answer...I came in half way through this on a film channel and had to find it again to see if it really was that weird.

Schizopolis - directed by Steven Soderbergh (Traffic, etc)

It really is hard to explain but at some points they talk backwards and in a large portion everything is opposite from what society normally has things. As a BBW I liked part of it when large women are being chased as they are now societies idea of beauty. It was really weird.

Jacobs was great, one of my all time favorite horror/suspense that turned out not to be horror/suspense at all...

Run Lola Run was fun, I watched it all in whatever language it was originaly done in with subtitles cause i did not know my DVD allowed me to change languages...

Donnie Darko was fun, but not in the same legue... I also felt they tied it all together odd, and what was the deal with the motovational speaker thing being a child molestor, that was absolutly out of place and seemed odd as hell when you look over the entire movie...

Eraserhead, MMMMMM watch it in the pitch dark while eating chicken for the full effect...

Magnolia was worth it just to hear Tom Cruise say "RESPECT THE COCK"

Am I the only person on the planet that felt let down with "A clockwork orange" after some of kubriks other films?

Shit anything written by boroughs had to be weird...

hehehehe the name of my mainstream company is "Interzone Productions" where not buroughs fans no never...
