New epic cash stand on the new visa rules.
Epic Cash affiliates
I will keep this short and simple. Due to the new visa mumbo jumbo, Epic Cash will NOT be lowering payouts, but we are dropping free trails and making them $1 trials. Please change your pages to reflect the new trial option and remove anything that says FREE. The only downside to all of this , is that we have made the decision to deduct chargeback's from your account. The deduction will be $25.00. Although a chargeback is typically around $45-$50(including fees), we will not be passing on these fees and we will make up for the difference. You will notice a new column in your stats that says 'chargeback's'. Very simply, if you get a chargeback, -$25 will show up there and is deducted from your payout. That pretty much sums up our game plan.. nothing drastic by any means. Epic Cash support Sponsors now eliminating signups due to chargebacks.... |

Of course, there is no way for the webmaster to confirm that there was actually a chargeback, just gotta take the sponsors word on it. If sponsors didn't scrub enough behind the scenes, they are gonna do right in front of our noses. Flow |

Is the webmaster limited to 1 chargeback per client or up to the total number of CB's that occur? For example, say a client joins the trial, becomes a full member, enters into a cross-sale and stays for say 2 months. If he CB's all those charges, is the webmaster liable for $25 times every charge or just $25? This could really kill webmasters when you add those up, especially those webmasters who only send 1-2 joins per pay period.

This is gold... instead of changing the system enough where it eliminates chargebacks, just pass CB charges onto affiliates who did nothing wrong.
If an affiliate starts getting chargebacks, what the hell can he do about it? This can only be addressed at the paysite level. Maybe you will offer special link codes to such webmasters that send their surfers to join pages with no cross sales? Doubtful. |

Something they didn't specifically say, but I'm guessing will be the case, is the amount you were paid for that signup + $25 will be deducted? I doubt they'll let you keep the comission from a sale that charged back.

From the big pimp
>>>>>>>>>>>>> bottom line... we are keeping payouts the same. the sites convert well, but that attracts a ton of fraud witch epoch sure doesn't help us keep undercontrol by any means, so we need todo it on our own. This was our solution to deter fraud, plain and simple. I could give a shit what other programs do, this is what I do and its my program. I will run it how I see fit. Im glad nobody else does it, then I would be just like everyone else. Im not running around with my head cut off looking for another processor, Im not sitting at my pc 24/7 trying to figure out how I am going to get under the 1% for good reason. cause I don't fuck around. You don't like it, don't push the sites. simple right? Its about time affiliates take some responsibility for their actions and clean up their promotional methods. affiliates want everything under the sun these days.. bunch of whiny little bitches. this is an adults game, so take control of the situation and adjust accordingly. If you disagree, sorry. p.s. drew, how's life treating you? LOL ---- This is gold... instead of changing the system enough where it eliminates chargebacks, just pass CB charges onto affiliates who did nothing wrong. ---- chargebacks are 90% fraud by affiliates. ---- Originally posted by WiredGuy Is the webmaster limited to 1 chargeback per client or up to the total number of CB's that occur? Feels great knowing that the guy cutting my check thinks I'm a whiny little bitch for being curious as to what the fuck is going on.

He doesn't think you're a whiny little bitch for wanting to know what's going on, he thinks you're a whiny little bitch for wanting...
$40 payouts and free unlimited bandwidth bannerless hosting and pre-made galleries so you don't have to work and pre-made free sites so you don't have to work and top-notch free content so you don't have to buy any and points for every sale so you can 'earn' costly toys and $15 t-shirts at Internext and free $10,000 club rentals at Internext and free unlimited top-shelf drinks at that club and and and and ....face it, he's right. Today's webmaster IS a whiny little bitch. The big program owners come from a time where you built your own shit because there were no free gallery generators or hosted galleries, you did your links by hand because there were no TGP or LL scripts - especially free ones, you figured out how to do shit yourself because there were no tutorials or program staff dedicated specifically to holding your hand and telling you how to make your sites better, and you had to bust your fucking ass rather than come to a board and bitch about a $10 deduction after the thousands of dollars the program pumps into recruiting you and keeping your ass happy. Whiny bitches... damn straight. He said it. |
