wmv -> avi/mpeg decoder
anybody know of a good one?
ive used stoik and media wizard from CDH, and neither has enough options to produce good quality mpegs/avi's (from my experience) |

I used TMPGenc Plus, but I think it fucks up quality too.

Sonic Foundry Vegas 4.0 or ULead VideoStudio 7 will do that I think.

Maybe someone can help me on this.
I exported a 4 min video from Premiere 6.5 using settings: Video Stream type:VCD Frame size: 352x240 Frramerate:24 and it's like 90mb.. can I make it smaller somehow? thx in adv. |

Could somebody explain to me why you should go from a bad wmv video with approx. 256kbits into a format like mpeg which would be used at 1150kbits at a minimum? Make a bad quality much more bad?
