The Revenge of Billy the Kid! No not the cowboy film. Fucking great film. http://www.outthereweb.co.uk/cgi-bin...LM&CODE=otw094 |
I saw this one movie once where bobcat bob goldswath (or however its spelled) was a guy who had a sock puppet for a head.
All the other characters where all twisted in a weird sort of way.. It was kinda like a troma film... Ah yes troma, the best in B films ever Toxic Avenger Tromeo And Juliet.. Good stuff.. |

good thread, has given me some ideas on movies to hire out. :-) p.s my gf votes meet the feebles and the weirdest flic she's seen. |
Quote:
I didn't know there was a dubbed version but god never watch dubbed versions - they suck and ruin the movie. If the movie is good you won't care about subtitles. |
Series 7: The Contenders
was kind of weird too Memento as well |
Car 54 where are you?
naked lunch..well actually any of this dudes movies are twisted |

The weirdest movie I've ever seen was Moulin Rouge
|
I would have to say these were some pretty wierd movies;
Magnolia (raining frogs) The Wall (teachers in the blender) Jacobs Ladder (messed up) A Clock Work Orange (on acid at like 15 eek) Being John Malkovich (Strange flick fo sho) |
Check out
Bio-Zombie |
Naked Lunch - quite a fucked up film...
|
The wierdest movie of all time is:
ZARDOZ Starring Sean Connery in diapers. It's a science fiction film from the 70s directed by John Boorman (Excalibur). It's as wierd as wierd can be. It starts off with a giant stone head that floats down from the sky and spits out rifles and chants, "The penis is evil. The penis shoots seed. The gun is good. The gun shoots death." and from there a bunch of really wierd shit happens. I love it. Eraserhead is also up there in the wierdness factor but I place Zardoz above it only because Z was a "mainstream" film shot on a real budget. |

OMG ZARDOZ..
The worst Science fiction movie EVER made... How much you want to bet that Sean wish's he could buy every copy of that movie and destroy it. Its a laugh riot for cheese...The giant stone head is totaly out there... |
Tommy - The Who
Crash - fucking wacked out - David Kronenburg Good thread.. gave me ideas on what to rent, I love wierd movies |
Dayum, I forgot about crash!! That flick was made here too! Excellent movie fo sho!
|
Nothing is weirder than real life.
Check out "Henry Portrait of a Serial Killer" |
If Henry doesn't weird you out "Redneck Zombies" surely will-
|
Another vote for "Eraserhead"
I like strange movies, but that thing really freaked me out! And here's an obscure one many of you may be too young to know about: "Head" starring The Monkees. This is their mind on drugs!! LOL |
peewees big adventure
|
Donnie Darko
|
Memento was kinda weird too
|
Brazil

Good call Nina. "Laugha while you can monkey boy" - Lord John Worfen |
That Buckaroo Bonzai promo brings back some memories.
I had some of my very first porn movies on a vhs tape that I labeled: "Buckaroo Banzai" and "Pale Rider" A Swedish Eritica Seka movie and Buttman's Ultimate Workout were actually on the tape. I wish I still had it.:( |

Troma fucking rules Tromeo and Juliet (Lemmy owned that movie along with the pierced tattooed lesbian incest cousin stuff) Toxic Avenger Sgt. Kabukiman Killer Condom Terror Firmer |
...and another vote for "Naked Lunch"
you can't beat large bugs with talking assholes....... |
"Happiness of the Katakuris, The" or "Katakuri-ke no kôfuku" original title. I have seen most of the movies mentioned here and this thing belongs proudly among them. very, very wierd movie
|

this is the weirdest movie I have seen but buckaroo is a close second |
The weirdest movie I think is called
NAKED LUNCH... David Lynch, starring the guy from RoboCop 1 and 2.... You gotta be high to watch it... and let's not forget FEAR and LOATHING in LAS VEGAS Johnny Depp fans get this one! |
come to think of it Howard The Duck was pretty screwed up too
|
http://www.zerocross.com/images/ichi.jpg
Ichi The Killer Supposedly its depictions of violence were so raw, that at the toronto film fest they handed out barf bags to the audience. |
eroswebmaster, happiness isn't so much "weird" as it is "creepy and disturbing"
|
'A Boy and his Dog' and 'Pi' are my 2 favorite "weird" movies, though 'Donnie Darko' is out there as well.
|
Quote:
Yeah...nothing about that movie was right. Eating spaghetti in that dirty tub, killing cats, retarted prostitutes...nasty... Here are a review of it from Rotten Tomatoes, lol... "By the end, one almost wishes another tornado would descend and wash away these subnormal characters for whom there is neither redemption nor purpose in life." - Elspeth Haughton |
Brazil.
End of thread. |
American Pie.....Totally out there
|
I completely forgot a really good one that isn't the weirdest but weird and definetely a good rent. It is called "Him and Me". It is about a guy and his penis only you get to hear the penis voice his opinions, pretty freaking hilarious.
|

Jacobs Ladder was definitely a wierd one... Natural Born Killers was wierd for me.. |
Quote:
My "favorites" are the skinhead brothers who fight in the kitchen.... |
Another weird cult movie is Wild In The Streets (one of my favorites) :thumbsup
|
Wow I have not seen most of these
I see naked lunch comes up a lot, I will have to check that out I didn't think American Pie, Run Lola Run, and Howard the Duck were that weird compared to The Dark Backward, doesn't look like anyone else but me has seen that movie. |
Quote:
to me, the weirdest thing about it was James Caan as the quack doctor and Rob Lowe as the tv producer with the massive chompers... |
for the record I was just being a smart ass with Howard the Duck..I do have better taste in films :)
|
Bill Paxton was also in Lost Highway wasn't he?
That movie was completely fucked up.. Waking life was also pretty messed up.. How about Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas? I can't say that Pulp fiction deserves to be even in the top 100 of this list.. Pulp Fiction actually makes sense.. It has a Story line that I can follow.. those other 3 sure as well don't.. Same for Jacobs Ladder. Fucked up film |
Anyone watch Spirited away yet?
I know its a cartoon and kind of a kids movie, but man that is a trip. When that old woman says,"And one more thing call me grannie." I nearly flipped. And that line "Your name is the hoku river" WTF? I am not an anime fan at all but I happened upon this one and it was worth the time. I think it is rated G, but if your 9 year old niece understands this movie take her to drug rehab immediately. For actual weird movies I thought Grey Gardens was out there. American Movie. Strangeness of reality. Happiness was just plain foul. It is the only movie that has ever made me nauseous. Kind of a tub girl feeling. Not like looking at tub girl, but being tub girl. |
Man you guys don't know wierd.... Here is a list to get you started
Mullholand Drive Lost Highway PI Requeim for a Dream Donnie Darko A Clockwork Orange I could go on and on, but this is a good place to start |
