The top nation in the pecking power order of nations acts as imperialistic as ever. It's people wonder why other people hate them. The people in the runner up nations in the great power game turn to such vague ideas as "culture" and "sophistication" and claim that theirs is better and, more importantly, that the top nations is inferior. "You may have wealth and power, but you don't have X". They act alarmed both as individuals and in their press until it reaches their leaders and they turn beligerent. Everyone begins to hate each other. Everyone hides behind such phrases as "I like the people but not the leaders". This puts increasing pressure on the top nation to either change and conform or strike out. Either response is usually surprising. Will this end like USSR/US/Europe with the Soviet citizens and the people of the Soviet Republics finally standing up and saying "We want to be more like them!" or will end up like World War I did with all the hatred of decades of negative thoughts and press towards each other? No cause. No effect. Just action and reaction. The same old song. The same old dance. |

I do not for a moment believe that the Administration would have used WMD's as the rallying point for the "public face"...if in fact they did not believe that WMD's would be found. This would provide fodder (and be predictable) for what is happening now...cries from the Webbys of the world "They lied!"...a Congressional investigation (which is now taking place)...and Political opponents (which is now taking place). I suspect that the end result of the Congressional investigation will be that the intelligence agencies provided intel to the Administration that provided the Administration with a conclusion that WMD's would be found...thus they chose to use WMD's as a major part of the "rallying cry/public face". If the Congressional investigation concludes that the intelligence agencies provided intel to the Administration without a bottomline conclusion of WMD's and in fact the Administration put their own spin on the intel that was provided to them and drew their own conclusions...I would favor impeachment proceedings if that falls under the Constitutional requirements for impeachment. If it does not fall under Constitutional requirements for impeachment I would assume that at the least it would insure that President Bush would not be re-elected. I for one will not automatically conclude that the President and those in his cabinet knowingly lied...until the facts are in...and the facts will not be in until the Congressional investigation is concluded. The Senate has already announced that public hearings will begin in September...in the meantime, as is SOP, they are holding private hearings. Either conclusion reached by the Congressional investigation "They lied!" or an "Intel" failure will damage the credibility of the US..but will not be a fatal blow to the country per se. |

Since this was a net based therapy session, it is highly recommended you do not consider it equal or higher value to actual treatment offered by a qualified physician. If you consider you need treatment, - in the first instance contact your regular doctor who will direct you to an appropriate specialist. I did give you far more credit than you may have imagined. However this denegrated with each post during therapy. I know nothing about you apart from your claims to have served in the US military and your views which can be assessed from your sig: "When you're running down my country hoss. You're walking on the fighting side of me!" During therapy you obviously felt a need to wander off into some Disneyland in order to pigeon hole the therapist in your mind. This included hallucinations that the therapist was "a druggy", suffered from paranoia and that the President of the US was "not really the cruel father". There was also some emotional attachment to the therapist in that theking was concerned about the availability of cell phones with which the "drugged out, paranoic therapist" can get help. This does show some level of sociability. OK enough of the therapy BS! theKing, you are a stupid man, - more than I thought possible. Just look at your posts and see the degree of stupidity. If I remember correctly, you previously claimed some "rank" in the US military. "Lad", either something has changed in your life since then, or you did actually wash dishes, since there is no way any ranking officer in the US Military would write such dribble, especially since he knows absolutely nothing about the person he is addressing. You are NOT even a suitable candidate! Now.. :321GFY and get a real life and realize others have one outside your shell and all is not as you assume it is! PS..
