I"ve been wanting to visit Vancouver for years. This will be my first trip. Love Chinese food, I even went to China recently mostly for the food!

Anyone who wants to go Chinese food hunting while there be in touch, that will be my fav networking event.

Great, my girlfriend and I will be there. I haven't had the pleasure of meeting anyone on this board yet, so I'm really looking forward to this.

No tour, I was with the Chinese. Ate all kinds of stuff. "in China, everything is food."

Duck chin was my fav, great noodle joints for lunch, every dinner at a differrent place. A lot of stuff I didn't know wtf it was. Hardly a western face any place I ate.

Never tried sea cucumber, not sure I"d go for that. The texture just does not appeal.

The drivers there are crazy. A week into my trip I asked my guide in all seriousness "are there any traffic laws here?" It looked to me that they kinda stayed to one side of the road, but not very well. They stopped for red lights, too. Outside of that it was "point the car and go."

I'm thinking of a bit more conservative standard menu lol -- however there are tons of great restaurants in Vancouver --

You should definitely come up, it's a gorgeous city, great shopping, beautiful scenery, nice restaurants, you name it!

This should be a blast, I love Vancouver. Hopefull the great Sleazy one can make it.

Although I dunno if we should go to Orange #5 again.

They will be stocking extra alcohol and we won't be taking cabs, so I'd say we'll be safe ;)
