    The All Star Game!

    hell, yeah, it's that time of the year

    National League Vs. American League at US Cellular Field

    I just hope Selig doesn't fuck up something again this year.

    I already see one major problem...how the fuck are we supposed to get kids interested in baseball again when the game won't start until almost 9:00PM on the east coast?

    Fucking ridiculous

    Baseball has been bemoaning the exodus of young fans to boring sports like basketball while scheduling the All Star game and even the World Series on later at night when kids are generally going to bed and then wonder why...what a bunch of dumbfucks.

    Oh well, after a great Home Run Derby last night, I'm looking forward to a good game tonight.

    I'm rooting for the National League, but will just do what most fans do this time of year, just sit back and relax and enjoy the game.

    The outcome of the game determines home field advantage for the World Series, could be interesting......

      I think that's kind of silly now that the All Star Game is nothing more than a parade of musical chairs.

      Now if they played to actually win, and not put every player in for an inning, it might mean something. That's what Selig is trying to encourage, but it's not going to change things.

          That Home Run Derby last night was awesome! I missed the first part of it (I heard it was a little slow.) But I started watching right before Giambi hit 12..then it just got better from there.

          I was in Chicago weekend before last, and went to a Cubs/Cards game...and I stayed a half a block from Wrigley. What a blast. I should have stayed in town all week...that town has to be hopping right now!
