The 20 day average only has to do with conversion ratio...
It is used to illustrate that the site does well all the time, not just on a "good" day. Many would quote signups vs join page and other methods to inflate the numbers. Retention is a completely different calculation. Usually determined by the number of updates a paysite has. My retention is great because members get several paysites with all original content that keeps them interested... http://www.GloryHoleGirlz.com is updated every week, religiously... My other sites, well maybe not as religiously... lol AVN carried my news release and this money is sitting here in my paypal account waiting to be sent to people that sling traffic, not their egos or mouths... 60/60 means that you get 60% of the signup AND 60% of the recurring. In other words, you get paid more than the paysite owner does.
